Last year, I said it flew by. This year lasted way too long. A long vacation following a job layoff and then a long illness kept me from focusing on things like music and writing. So, admittedly, I missed a lot of releases. This is a compilation of the best releases I did get to, even if I didn’t review them until recently. You will notice a heavy focus on the more ambient/droney releases, which, when focusing on money best spent, is where my listening and reviewing will always take me. As far as the order here, I should almost remove the numbers. Other than the fabulous “Beyond The Circle Of The Stars” at number 1, these releases could be in any order, and I feel the same love and connection with all of them, depending on time and mood. All excellent releases. Hopefully, I stay on top of things in 2024.
