Landings Motionless I-VI, released by Sulatron Records, rests itself somewhere between ambient and space rock. Curated from their 2022 subscription series, motionless combines electronic drones and pads, acoustic guitars, and clean bass sounds to create a new, hard-to-define listening experience. Part folk, part kosmische, part indie (once the beats kick in), it all kind of merges into a new beautiful landscape. It seems so long since I first encountered Landing at Terrastock 5 in Boston many years ago And it’s great to see that they are still active in some way. Perhaps I should have been paying attention all along. The subscription series on Bandcamp is a definite must.
