Released earlier in the year on Tonzonen Records this is one of those albums where I want something from a label but the shipping is so expensive i need to find something else to make it worth while. I knew listening to the sound samples that this one was flying under the radar. Getting this one on the turntable made that clear. Long format heavy space jams with some quality musicians make this an extremely listenable album. The opening track “Freak Wave” is a long, heavy, space freakout. “Garden Of The Wizard slows things down a bit and adds some Framptonesque vox box effects for good measure. “Drosophylla” amps up the psych levels with its spacey effects and deep groove. “Demon Priest” brings us back up to pace with the frenetic drums guiding the way. “Weedlands” closes out the double lp with a dirgelike slow mind melter of a piece. Don’t pass on this one, it may not be getting the accolades it deserves.
