Tren Go! Sound System is Pedro Pestana’s one-man project outside of his involvement with 10,000 Russos. Suspended Islands is four tracks of guitar loops and effects creating an ambient droning atmosphere. The tracks were created for the Suspended Islands project which featured several performances for audience members passing by in boats. For the most part, this release is quite mellow and contemplative with gentle guitar playing layered over droning guitar loops although Track 1 “Welcome Aboard” is more of a straight-up, slightly ominous, guitar drone. Perfect for a rainy Sunday morning coffee with an ocean view.
