Featuring members of The bands Domboshawa, Fanatism, Eye Make the Horizon, and Kungens Män, Svenska Psykvänner has released their second full length of pure psych grooves. If you are familiar with the aforementioned bands you know what kind of territory you are in with the hypnotic improvised style but not only do you get a touch of dub on “Afrika 2” you get a full 16-minute dub piece dedicated to Lee Scratch Perry. Tons of great bass and improvised guitar work and of course solid percussion are to be expected from these guys. Well worth hunting this one down. This one should make an appearance on the year-end chart. It’s quite infectious.
