The first ever live record from Mexico’s Los Mundos has a little bit of a story behind it. Recorded in a defunct mine the setlist was curated from the bands history to find tunes that would work sonically with the natural reverb of the mine. Short of the audio and video crew documenting the event there was no audience. What you end up is a set of high quality tracks that are not too aggressive or dark in that they wouldn’t play well in the setting. The set is a good mix of their bluesy infused sound with driving basslines and solid vocals.The sound and recording here are excellent and the familiar tunes sound see the band in top form. Worth the addition to your Los Mundos collection.
