Joe Hollick, perhaps best known for his work in Wolf People is out with his first solo release on Echodelick and Cardinal Fuzz. if you are a fan of some of the work on the Feeding Tube Label like anything featuring Matt Rolin this is for you. It’s a kind of country blues psych approach with a full band (mostly)primarily focusing on excellent acoustic guitar playing. The release has an old yet new feel to it. I’m not sure how the labels let this one get out with such a limited pressing because it needs to be in more hands. It’s that good. This record will take you to other places.
I have heard that this one may see a repress as it’s completely sold out of the limited run hand-stamped sleeve and numbered edition of 100 on Cardinal Fuzz(UK) and Echodelick(USA) So for now you will have to get a taste from the digital version on Bandcamp.
