In September of 2019 Electric Moon and Talea Jacta met to perform as one band in Lisbon Portugal. Talea Jacta is the little-known paring of Joao Pais Filipe, who many may know from the excellent collaborations with Gnod and Black Bombain, and Pedro Pestana from 10 000 Russos. Electric Moon is of course the prolific Spacerock/Kosmische outfit out of Germany. Together they create an exploration into the outer reaches of space with epic jams and forays into spacey experimental soundscapes. Screeching guitars, epic percussion, and massive basslines. It’s all here. The combination of these two outfits is a trip worth taking lending new perspectives to an already familiar body of work. The release is comprised of three long tracks with the first two comprising side 1 and the monster part 3 taking up 20 minutes of side 2.
Limited to 450 copies on vinyl (marbled vinyl) and 450 CD’s. The cover also features some killer artwork by Komet Lulu I picked mine up from Juno and the vinyl is sold out at Sulatron (Reissue coming in Spring on black vinyl) but you can still get the CD. Hunt this one down if you have a chance it’s a must-have.
