This one is for you Post-Rock fans and it doesn’t disappoint. Three long tracks from this group from Lima Peru fit right into the standard Post-Rock mold which is to say they don’t venture off into metal, jazz, or orchestral composition. The tracks are beautiful and sometimes haunting. If I had to compare them to anything I would start with Mono with similar guitar tones and drumming. Each of these songs is a slow burner with the title track and “Gestos y Distancia” clocking in at 13 minutes each and Ha’Adam hitting the 23-minute mark. Ha’Adam is probably the standout track here with its ebbs and flows, picking up steam then dropping off and repeating the process several times. This one will get a lot of play during my late-night Post-Rock emotional trips.
