This one, as they say, is a “Cracker”. Another 2LP joint release between Cardinal Fuzz and Feeding Tube Records. I have to confess to not knowing a thing about the legend that is Munehiro Narita. But he did found the highly influential heavy-psych outfit High Rise. Live P.S.F plays more like a classic punk record with some stellar guitar work on top. Think Black Flag with a crafty guitarist. Recorded live at the Hemlock Tavern in 2017 the recording itself is somewhat lo-fi but that only adds to the mystique and it lends a very bootleg quality to the release. This one just doesn’t let up and the pace is relentless. By the end of the 15 minutes long closer “Popsicle” your ears may be bleeding if you are doing it right.
