18th Day of May was a 6 piece psych/folk outfit based in the UK in the mid-2000s If your a fan of outfits like Trimdon Grange Explosion (who shares 4 band members) or The Left Outsides than this is going to be right up your alley. The tracks on this LP were recorded over several sessions and cover a wide range of styles from the Byrds and REM to the Velvet Underground and Brian Jonestown Massacre. For the most part, though they stick to the familiar folky style. I would describe this as a good Sunday morning coffee record. sprawling across 2LPs there are very few if any lessor tracks on this LP. Grab this while you can

Co-released on Cardinal Fuzz (sold out) and Feeding Tube Records
