Limited to 500 copies (200 transparent green and 300 black) Flow and Heady captures the Dire Wolves Just Exactly Perfect Sisters Band at the top of their game , augmented by The Myrrors Nick Rayne on guitar and clarinet and Bell Lungs on violin and voice. Recorded Live at The Festival Of Endless Gratitude in Copenhagen in 2019 Flow And Heady captures the best of the Dire Wolves “Cosmic Free Rock” blending jazz, krautrock, psych and folk. The LP kicks of with the outstanding 18 minute long jam Flow and Heady > By The Fireside and features some outstanding guitar work and vocal interplay as one might expect from Dire Wolves. Side two leads off with the psych rocker Let The Dog See The Rabbit with its heavy bass-line and guitar interplay. The album closes with Dr. Esperanto which picks up the pace a bit and is a chance for the sax to shine. One of the benefits of this release is the bonus digital tracks. Not just two tracks but two entire concerts from the same tour. If you have not been a fan of Dire Wolves up to this point grab this one as it’s as good a place as any to dive in.
