Hailing from Poland, Experimental outfit Lastryko have released their first LP on The Weird Beard records. Relying on motorik beats, pulsating basslines and electronics “Tetno Pulsu” brings to mind something akin to Minami Deutsch meeting the electronic efforts of Survive. The 6 tracks here start of with Jeden featuring some tribal style drumming with heavy basslines and subtle guitar work. DWA starts of with the classic electronic sounds and works it’s way into an 8 minute motorik frenzy with some heavy fuzz guitar. Trzy follows at a much slower space heavy on the reverb and echo. Cztery brings us back to the classic retro synth sound. The album closes with Piec which in many ways ties it all together. Hopefully not the last we hear from Lastryko.

Originally released on CD last year to great reviews, Tętno Pulsu has now been specifically remastered for vinyl by John McBain. Limited to 250 copies on red wax, the first 50 copies will come with a screenprinted tote bag (done by the band themselves) to reflect the updated cover art.
