Las Montañas was first released as a cassette back in 2016 by Cintas and Abstrakt Muzak and has been re-released, remixed and remastered, by Little Cloud Records and The Weird Beard on vinyl. A fast paced Indie Rock meets Shoegaze tour-de-force. Walls of sound and distortion with a unique blend of electronics. They mix things up a bit here. The album close with a fuzzy bluesy Espacio-Tiempo. “Horizonte De Sucesos” is a dark almost punky intro that want to break out but never does. “El Color Que Cayó Del Espacio” kicks off the lp with a distortion laden romp aided by some deep spaghetti western guitar. “Re-Animado” is a punky instrumental with a touch of Seasurfer influence. “Los Gatos De Ultha” is heavy on the Sabbath metal influence. “Lo Que Trae La Luna” gets to more of what I think about when I think of Los Mundos. More of a psych tinged heavy sound with some pace to it. “Lemmy” is like a quick less than a minute intro. While “Hoyo Negro” hints to more of what is to eventually come from the band. A solid record and a must have for archival purposes of the evaluation of the band.

Also of interest and available from Little Cloud is a repress of the first self titled Los Mundos LP released by Aurora Central Records
