The Ominous Drone’s Top 25 Vinyl Releases of 2020

I started this blog at the beginning of this year as an exercise to work on something I have not really done much of since college so many years ago, writing. So this is my first official top list. Reading back through some of these reviews I find it interesting how some of these records grew on me or had the opposite effect over time. I am also a bit shocked at some of the reviews I didn’t do. So the rules here are pretty simple. It’s my top 25, It has to be a vinyl release and I have to have it on my shelves. I could have made a top 100 list but to be honest after the top 5 or so it’s all kind of a wash. Between 6 and 25 they really could be in almost any order depending on the day and mood. But this year’s top 5 have been in constant rotation and is certainly a top crop of vinyl. Click on the title links for my reviews if I did one.
