200 copies on Purple vinyl with white splatter 100 copies on Pink on Drone Rock Records
Not much arriving from Europe these days at all so I was glad to get a couple of items from Drone Rock despite mail generally not flowing from over seas.
I’m definitely new to Eat Lights Become lights but I am certainly going to check out more of their stuff. Building on what I would describe as a Motorik beat based sound with a more modern “Alternative” band vibe to create a very danceable groove. Hard driving drums and bass layered with effects drenched guitar with extensive use of the wah wah and volume pedals to create a swirling euphoric sound. “Live” serves as an excellent introduction to their current sound and , hopefully, a precursor to their new LP due out in late 2020
